While some agencies merely refer potential caregivers, In Search of Nanny takes a
different approach. We listen, assist and educate parents and nannies in clearly defining
their
expectations. We orient both parents and caregiver to the profession of in-home childcare
and act as an impartial coach throughout the interviewing, hiring and employment process.
Many nanny employers are seasoned managers in their professional lives. Managing a nanny employee, who has a different motivation and skill set than those of office employees, requires different skills. Our process educates both caregiver and parent about the complexity of the relationship and provides the tools for building mutual respect and trust.
